Our 6th grade ELA curriculum gives students the opportunity to dig deep into academic topics that matter, by using authentic worthy texts. Students will have the opportunity to take learning into your own hands by engaging Universe Sandbox, creating models, and exploring science like never before. The focus of math lessons are to help students to make connections between their academic learning and the real world. Students participate in challenging, but engaging electives throughout the year to help support growth in GreenWood's HEALTH values.
Steve is a lifelong resident of Utah. He grew up in Cache Valley. Soon after marriage, he and his wife moved to the Ogden area and have lived in Plain City for the past 14 years. He is the proud papa bear of 4 children. Steve loves the outdoors and you will find him enjoying every season along the Wasatch Front. Whether skiing, cycling, fishing, or hiking with family or his 65 lb labradoodle, he uses his math skills for preparation, analysis, survival, and enjoyment.
I am excited to educate the minds of the Greenwood students and show them the use of math in all aspects of life.
Make your life a masterpiece; imagine no limitations on what you can be, have or do.
