Gambel Oak Tree Classroom
6TH & 7TH GRADE math
Our 6th grade ELA curriculum gives students the opportunity to dig deep into academic topics that matter, by using authentic worthy texts. Students will have the opportunity to take learning into your own hands by engaging Universe Sandbox, creating models, and exploring science like never before. The focus of math lessons are to help students to make connections between their academic learning and the real world. Students participate in challenging, but engaging electives throughout the year to help support growth in GreenWood's HEALTH values.
Ms. Ashlee
a little about me
I am Mrs. Ashlee! I am from right here in Ogden Utah. I grew up going to Venture Academy, a sister charter school in northern Utah, and I LOVE EL! I graduated high school and chose to serve an LDS mission, where I lived In Alberta Canada for a little over a year doing service for others. Once back in Utah I attended UVU for a year, as well as continuing my education through WGU.
I was able to be a part of a company who works with children who have Autism. I absolutely loved being with those kids, and developing more skills to better help them succeed in life. I recently got married this summer to my husband Justin, and we are living our best lives! When I am not at work or doing school I am spending as much time with him as possible.
I feel very blessed to have the opportunity to teach 6th & 7th math here at Greenwood, and get to know and love my students!
