Biography
Susie Tayrien
Reading and Intervention Specialist
I landed in education in a non traditional way. I have a degree in Recreation Management and started out teaching elementary school PE for several years. I then began an alternate route to licensure and received my Professional Teaching License. I have been at Greenwood for 5 years and taught in Early Grove where I developed a passion for literacy. I pursued additional literacy training which led me to my current position as the Literacy Specialist. I love to support teachers, students, and paras as they teach our students critical literacy skills and encourage growth in their reading abilities.
