I believe in quality, holistic education that includes mindfulness, gratitude, and healthy habits. I know that every student has the potential for the highest academic achievements. I push my students to the limit and do not let them give up. By the end of each school year, I always hope that every student leaves with a positive mindset. One of my favorite traditions in GreenWood is our winter and spring intensives, because we can teach students something outside the curriculum. 

A bit about myself: I was born and raised in Germany and am Italian. I became an American citizen 25 years ago. I have been married for 36 years, have three boys, and a dog. I enjoy going for walks, vacationing with my family, camping, hiking, biking, cooking, baking, and reading. I love nature and animals. I speak three languages: English, German, and Italian. 

As GreenWood inspires, I also believe in healthy lifestyles and in implementing EL Education, leading to a hands-on, exploration-based approach to learning for each student.
