Kindergarten

In Kindergarten at Greenwood Charter School we focus on educating the whole child through centers, play, and hands on learning. For Math and Reading we follow the Utah Common Core State Standards. We are currently using the Eureka Math Curriculum and the Reading Horizons Curriculum. We also use the EL curriculum in Kindergarten where we focus on Toys and Play, Weather, and Trees. We practice mindfulness, movement breaks, and social emotional building. Kindergarten is a great place to be!

Hello my name is Miss Audrey and I’m so excited for my first year as a kindergarten teacher! I recently graduated from UVU with a bachelors degree in family science. I have worked with children most of my life with family, at a daycare, as nanny, and in schools. I love spending time with children.  

I grew up in the small town of Richfield, Utah. I served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in San Diego. I recently married my best friend. We enjoy traveling and spending time with our family. We have a miniature dachshund named Dash who keeps us on our toes.

I’m passionate about teaching children skills they’ll use throughout their life time! I cannot wait to meet your child!
