We are so excited for the 2021-2022 school year and can’t wait to see our families and students! Our teachers are
excited to get back to school and dig into our Expeditionary Learning and structures that we are used to here at
Greenwood. Last year was definitely a challenge for all involved! We are grateful to have in person instruction this
year. There will not be an online option. We had hoped that the pandemic would be behind us, but it looks like we will
need to continue to be diligent to keep our students and families safe from the spread of Covid-19.
PREVENTION:
The Utah Department of Health strongly recommends the following layered prevention strategies in K-12 schools:

If you are exposed to someone at school who tests positive for COVID-19, it will not be necessary to quarantine if:
In addition, masks must be worn by drivers and passengers in vehicles on all school-related trips (CDC Order). If Greenwood has 30 or more active cases, teachers and students must Test to Stay to continue in-person learning.
Any student isolating at home will be required to engage in asynchronous learning provided daily on their teacher’s Google Classroom.
