United Way - 2-1-1

Utah is a statewide service of United Way. 

2-1-1 is an easy-to-remember, free, phone number that people can dial (24/7) to get information and referrals to important health, human, and community service programs including: 

• emergency food pantries, 
• utility/rental assistance, 
• public health clinics, 
• child care and parenting resources, 
• employment assistance, 
• addiction recovery programs, 
• domestic violence or suicide crisis intervention, 
• affordable housing options, 
• help for aging parents, 
• support groups, 
• legal aid, 
• and a variety of nonprofit and government agencies.

Individuals, families, and corporate and religious groups can also dial 2-1-1 to get connected to meaningful volunteer opportunities.
